Mark Allen

Mark Allen is the Senior Director of Programs and Engineering for Viant Medical, an ISO-certified medical device contract manufacturer specializing in single-use medical components and medical devices. Viant Medical has a global footprint with 25 facilities with capabilities in metal processes, injection molding, product assembly and product design.

As the Senior Director of Programs and Engineering, Mark's responsibilities include:

• new product introduction for domestic and international manufacturing locations;
• executing the operational excellence strategy for a business unit of Viant Medical;
• profits and losses for engineering services related to designing, building and strategically sourcing injection molding tools used at Viant Medical manufacturing locations.

Mark has over 16 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to his role at Viant Medical, Mark served as Director of Operations for AlloSource, managing the operations for bone and soft tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures. Mark was also the Director of Corporate Engineering for Medtronic, managing large-scale capital investment projects for the operations side of the organization. He also worked in operations for Dell Computer Corporate, Celestica, and Terumo BCT.

Mark holds a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
