Mona M. Vernon the Head of Fidelity Labs.
Previously she served as the Chief Technology Officer atThomson Reuters Labs where she lead Thomson Reuters network of global innovation labs, its research and development function, the Center for Cognitive Computing, blockchain engineering, and the design resources for the customer digital experience transformation.
Previously, Mona was Vice President at Thomson Reuters Labs, where she founded and scaled up the global innovation labs network to collaborate with customers, start-ups, and academic partners. Prior to leading the labs, Mona owned the Emerging Technology and Innovation Strategy for the Global CTO and successfully deployed an Open Innovation Challenge program across the company. Before joining Thomson Reuters, she managed product and technology development in technology start-ups.
Mona holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and a S.M. in Engineering and Management from MIT/MIT Sloan, where her research focused on the role of customer experience in digital business strategy. She is a member of the FinTech Sandbox Executive Board, an external advisor to the MIT Institute for Data Systems and Society, a member of the Boston Financial Services Leadership Council, and a winner of Boston 50 on Fire.
