William Voigt serves as a Technical Product Manager at Amazon Robotics. Amazon Robotics, a subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., empowers customer delivery through robotic automation. In this role, William oversees the lifecycle of Amazon Robotics' package sortation solution; from new product ideation through continuous improvement and keep-the-lights-on initiatives. Spanning numerous robotic and human process paths, the package sortation solution ensures customer orders arrive on time to the correct location.
Previous to Amazon Robotics, William spent 8 years at Bose. As a New Product Manager within Consumer Electronics, William helped explore and define new business opportunities. Topics of exploration included consumer and enterprise augmented and virtual reality, the smart home, gaming, and spatial audio. Later, William helped establish a new Business Strategy role, serving as an internal consultant to customers across the company. Projects included redesigning Bose's R&D organization and Automotive product portfolio, launching a new Esports category, and facilitating strategic risk and trend tracking discussions with Bose's C-suite and Board of Directors.
William holds a B.A. from Colby College in Physics and Philosophy, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.E.M. from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. William lives in Massachusetts with his wife and son.
