Personal Statement

The Dartmouth MEM program has been a great learning platform by offering a balance of technical and analytical courses with theoretical and business courses. The wide range of electives available to MEMs has allowed me to focus on data-driven decision making and the skills needed to excel in the analytics field. In addition, I have refined my teamwork and leadership abilities in courses like Technology Assessment and Marketing, while our Professional Skills course has taught me valuable networking and communications skills.

Dartmouth does a great job in making sure that the MEM experience is complete, in terms of academics but also from a social perspective. It would be nearly impossible to take advantage of all of the events and activities available on campus. From Homecoming to Winter Carnival, MEM Trivia nights to potlucks, there is always something fun to take part in. Each of these events has further solidified the close relationships that we form in the program.
