Personal Statement

The Dartmouth MEM has given me the quantitative skills to analyze and understand technology as well as the project organization and business experience to work with cross functional teams and communicate with team members. This degree provides a lot of room for growth in areas not normally experienced in undergraduate engineering degree programs, such as marketing and project management. The 390 internship was such an important experience for me, because I was able to practice my skills in a setting external from Dartmouth as well as gain confidence in my abilities to contribute to the healthcare field. The MEM program has very much rounded out my educational background and given me a unique blend of engineering and business skills that will allow me to pursue my passion in the product management and business side of the healthcare field.
