I chose to pursue MEM because I am passionate about technical challenges and designing and developing new solutions, but I also wanted to be involved in strategic decision-making to enter the business world. What attracted me to Dartmouth was the smaller cohort size; this enabled me to connect more closely with my peers. I particularly enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of people from interdisciplinary backgrounds and learning from them. Dartmouth's unique interdisciplinary academic program allowed me to choose electives from Tuck Business School and Thayer School of Engineering. Learning from the professors and faculty that are experts in their field is truly exhilarating. Moreover, the close-knit community at Dartmouth makes it easy to become familiar with people and the town quickly. In addition to that, there are plenty of activities to do around the campus. I personally look forward to covering most of the hiking trails around the area. Being an international student, I believe I have found my home away from home.
